Summer is fast approaching, and that means summer food! One of the best summery foods has to be hummus. Hummus is great because it’s healthy, easy to make and pretty cheap! You can make it basically any flavour too. My all time favourite hummus has to be caramelised onion. I have been known to eat healthy caramelised onion hummus by the pot load, it’s just that delicious!
It goes with basically everything (try it on toast – best toast topping ever!). This is why it’s so perfect for summer. You can have it as a light lunch with salad, or take it along on a picnic, and it’s also perfect with BBQ foods. I’m now dreaming of eating this healthy hummus on a beach – note to self, this WILL happen this summer!
